Students of 2017
More than thirty students are supported by the Trust in 2017.
Twenty of them are senior students; sixteen are first year students. They represent the future of the Arniston fishing community. It is a pleasure to support them.
Amanda Afrika
Amanda is studying a MBChB (medical) at Stellenbosch University. In 2016, she graduated with a BSc in Physiology.
Bevan Arends
Bevan is in his second year Sports Management at the Stellenbosch Rugby Academy.
Julian Europa
Julian enrolled at the Maties Referees Academy. At school he refereed all league matches. He matriculated in 2017.

Rantin is doing a Masters in Geography at UWC.

Courtney is studying LLB degree at the University of Western Cape.
Jamian Marthinus
Jamian is in his third and final year Electrical Infrastructure Construction at Boland College.

Fenito is in his second year Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University. He passed his first year with merit.

Lee-Ann is in her second year Biotechnology at UWC.

Abraham is in his second year Human Resource Management at BMT College. He passed with distinction in 2016.

Nicole is in her second year B.Ed (Foundation Phase) at Stellenbosch University.

Shane Swart
Shane works in Cape Town at Siyabona Africa as a web developer. He is training as a tour guide at Livingstone Academy.

Lucresia is studying through Forensics for Africa for a certificate in Forensic Crime Scene Reconstruction.

Vincent is studying for a diploma in Teaching Methodology at UNISA. He is head of the division Food and Beverage at the Arniston Spa Hotel.

Chad-Leigh is in his second year B.Ed at Stellenbosch University. He passed his first year with distinction.

Jeanrick is in his second year B.Ed (Senior) at North-West University.

Roche is attending a part-time Master in Public Administration at Stellenbosch University. She works part-time in the finance department of the Cape Agulhas Municipality.

Jeanrin is in her second year BTech Hospitality at CPUT. Her internship of six months is at 15 on Orange in Cape Town.
