“Voetspore in die Gonnabos” by Pieter Swart is a history of Arniston, as told by local people from one generation to the other. It was published in 2008. Copies available from Pieter Swart. All profits from the sale of the book are used for the up-keep of an indigenous garden at the memorial plate which was erected when the historical fishing village was first declared a national monument.
